The Carbone Lorraine RC5+ Brake pad compound is designed for light car applications and endurance racing. The low wear rate makes it also suitable for trackday use, low grip conditions such as gravel rally, wet races or when using standard tyres.

The RC5+ compound has an average friction coefficient of μ=0.4 and are very effective from cold, giving excellent initial bite yet will still not deteriorate in braking over 1000 °C
