The RC8 compound offers a superior friction level (friction coefficient of μ=0.6) from low temperatures to 1100°C,; giving consistent braking distance and pedal feel in all environments and weather conditions.

The CL Brakes RC8 brake pads are available with the -R Option, The -R Option is a unique grooved backing plate that provides a radiator effect; increasing airflow and surface area to cool the braking system faster. The contact area with the brake caliper is also reduced to minimise heat conduction between surfaces. The RC8-R option should be used in case of brake fluid temperature issues, and with ventilated brake systems with airducts.
